Background
This is more than my work--my work is my mission. I'm a former professional athlete, turned sports psychologist, and for the past 16 years, I've been helping athletes and exercisers work through the mental and emotional challenges of performance anxiety and injury recovery.
Both of which I have struggled with over the years. When my debilitating back pain and excessive worry threatened to end my 10-year pro athlete career, I knew I had to break-free from those chains.
This first-hand experience of the conditions I teach students to overcome, allows me to teach from a place of deep understanding—guiding sessions where movement becomes a tool not just for physical recovery, but for emotional healing, self-acceptance, and mental mastery.
Education
As a child, I was raised by a tribe of spiritual scholars who encouraged my thirst for knowledge and insight on what it means to be human, and how to maximize the power of the human spirit. The seeds that were planted in me as a child, blossomed into a path of study in a variety of mind-body disciplines that support overall health.
I combine my background in psychology, mindfulness, meditation, neuro-linguistic programming (nlp), Gyrotonic, Yoga, Pilates, hypnosis, and intuitive energy healing into one unified system--allowing me to offer my clients not just an exercise method, but a pathway to deeper personal transformation.
What To Expect
My holistic background gives me unique insight into how energy flows in the body, and how energy blockages show up as both physical and emotional pain.
I focus on teaching my clients how to release these energetic blocks at the root, so they can end the struggle with anxiety, chronic pain and the physical symptoms of stress.
When working with me, expect an experience that integrates intuitive insight, ancient wisdom, neuroscience, and mindful movement into every session--using the body as a tool for spiritual growth and self-discovery.
